Bart's Stock Car Site Guest bookName: Jeff Sutton CommentsI thought maybe this little tid bit of info would be interesting. When Bobby, Donny, Davey and Clifford Aliison raced at Cayuga in the same race, it was a challenge race against some of the Cascar drivers, it was the only race all four Allisons ever raced together in the same race. Doug Stewart of London won. If you know of anyway of finding out more history of Speedway Park, the track at the top of 20 highway in Stoney Creek...email me..I havae all the programs from the 1972 season when Terry Kitchen drive Van Dyke's blue Mustang #8 won the championship. hmmm, I've been watching racing in Southern Ontario since around 1965, Van Dyke built his cars next door to me, I also have an old 8 x10 black and white photo of him and some others from 1966, Ivan Little , Frank Fields Joe Sefe, denny Deagle..... Noticed reference to Riverside Park Agawam. Used to go every week w/ father 1960's , he had friends racing . I still remember a few of them and have always wondered if anyone remembered that track. Any recollection?.. I moved out west to Phoenix 1968 but still remember those stock car races every Sat. cause thats the only place he ever took me. Beer w/ friends. Jocco Magacomo, Dick Berg? sound familiar. I imagine some we saw went on to make a name for themselves. Anyway just curious. ED Name: john dobson CommentsInteresting site. Enjoyed looking around. This is my web site if you want to stop by someday: http://www.ernhrtfanalwys3.com Name: Drew Spencer CommentsIf you want to talk to somebody about Cayuga Speedway. You should talk to Ken Spencer. He did all of the programs and promotion for Cayuga during the 70's. He is also my dad and I can gurantee his basement is full of stuff from Cayuga. Email: kspencer@dsvans.com Name: Terry Dalton CommentsHi There: My name is Terry Dalton and I was a Pinecrest brat. I lived not far from the track and would often ride my bike there or hitch a ride as I was too young to drive then. From where I lived then, I could often hear the cars through my bedroom window and I then lived on Shoreham drive. That noise was what prompted my investigaton and subsequent discovery of the track and I have never forgotten about it. I did, at one time sell coke for the DiCarlos at the track in order to pay my way into the races. I often found myself being scolded for sitting and watching the races instead of sellng Cokes. This site is a blessing and a curse as it is all too easy to get lost in the memories. I have a LOT of old photos, from then, I recall one in particular of Don Biederman sticking his tongue out at my stepdad as he tried to take his picture. He did not take that pic, but the one after when Don was laughing about it. I've been involved in motorsports as both a competitor and fan as well. I'm anticipating another upcoming icrace season at the fairgrounds in Minden, Ontario where I hope to garner another championship. I'm on holiday, in Nova Scotia currently and if the weather holds, I'm going to try and find the remains of the track in Lawrencetown for the Canadian Racer website. I also have a 2 teenage kids and they like to see this stuff. I had a box of programs I should try and find, also have some pics I got from Norm Lewis(remember the announcer?). I didn't see your name but I quess it has something to do with the news clipping. Thanks again. P/S I have a photo signed by all the Allison's, P/S/S Do you remember the weekend Bobby messed up his plane landing at the track? Bob Blenkarn. Name: john CommentsGreat site. Name: Adrian Frederik CommentsHi! I'm a fellow Canadian from Toronto. Your comments about F1 hold no weight and your facts are off, but I respect your enthusiasm for your life long interest in Nascar. Me, I've been an F1 fan from an early age, love the driver's who wield these beast's and the technical aspect's of the sport even if there isn't much passing. You prefer constant lead changes(which in my opinion is easier to do in Nascar) I prefer comparing sector times, looking at team stategies and a passing maneuver that deserves respect because of how difficult it is for the driver to do. To say Nascar is better than F1 or other race events(WRC,DTM..)because it has more passing is the same as saying basketball is better than hockey because they score more. I guess F1 snobs like me deserve to get a ribbing from time to time, all in good fun eh? Nascar fans tend to get a bashing on the net, more than us wine and cheese race fans, your opinion along with others help create a nice equilibrium. Cheers Name: Len CommentsHi. I've enjoyed your site very much and would like to link to it from my site http://www.racinportal.com Please contact me via the email link there. Thanks! Name: Tracy Thompson CommentsI am a huge race fan in Dallas Tx - thoroughly enjoyed your site and all that it offered - keep up the good work Name: Buckshot CommentsI was looking for some info on the Trans Am Series when i found this site. TA seems not very popular in America. Why´s that? Interesting cars running on some interesting tracks. In Europe i think it would be a popular series. Do you know any forum that discusses TA? NOT "let´s talk racin" forum because i got banned :( Great site btw. Name: Racy CommentsI hope you are not offended in any way by my question/comment. I found your site on google after looking for an internet friend of mine by the name of Bart. I am also hoping that as google did not have any references to him you might be able to point me in the right direction. What I know is that he builds nascars and lives somewhere in Arazona. he got married about 1 1/2 years ago. I know his email is bartswork@ ... I realise that you may never have heard of him before and do apologise for wasting your time if that is the case. Being from a very small group of islands down by the South Pole I understand that what I am asking is akin to looking for a needle in a haystack. However if you do know of bart(swork) I would be very grateful if you would pass any contact information to me or send my email address to him. He once sent me a key ring from the states that says "Speed Thrills" and I have it to this day. Thank you for your time Sincerely Racy the Westiegal. Name: Randy CommentsGreat site. for Ovarian Cancer CommentsDear Bart; I just wanted to say a very large thank you for all of your help with the Dare to Dream for Ovarian Cancer event in London. With people like yourselves, Don Brooks and Dave Whitlock - Whitlock Sports, Cascar and the Delaware track, we would certainly not have been the success to date. This event has made history for ovarian cancer because many people told us we didn't have the survivours to accomplish an endeavour of this nature. It is true, we don't. However with your help and your community it has made such a large and significant difference to all of those who have been touched by ovarian cancer. Words are not sufficient to express our thanks to all of you. We still have the Hamilton and Toronto events on Sept 6th, 6th and 8th, and always need help, so if there still is anyone who can lend a helping hand we would (remain) entirely grateful. I know that Deborah had a fabulous time! Name: Wayne Bratton CommentsHI BART!Fantastic Web Site'Sure did like all wright up"s on Don Bierdman.I'am now up to 130 different Speedways in the USA.My personel all time Favorite driver was the no# 82 of the late Jack Cook.Could you possibly do a story about JACK Thank you very much Wayne Name: Sukh CommentsYour whole F1 VS Nascar thing is kind of one sided, because you didn't address the fact that Nascar drivers basically turn left for a couple hours and then the race is over. What's worse is that the Nascar drivers can't do that right considering that there are so many crashes in Nascar that it isn't even funny. F1 cars on the other hand are faster, better looking, and they sound a lot better, too. Now, I'm not even trying to make fun of your website or anything, but I'm just trying to prove my point. Anyway, if you have time to respond to this, please do so. Thanks. Name: kevin bird CommentsI've booked marked your site and I must say that you have an excellent site that you are rightfully proud of . I look forward to seeing updates in the future . by the way I drive a dirt track car down here in Georgia so it is my opinion that you should make a trip to a dirt track in canada so you can truly understand its mystic . keep up the good work and feel free to email me back anytime to chat about racing Name: james nichols Commentsi just found your web sight today and i really like it. thanks. my uncle got me into nascar many years ago.ever sent then i have been a race fan of dale sr.my cousin race a track in robertivlle,nc and he does it with one arm and does great. Name: Dawn Roberts CommentsThanks so much for your page on Cayuga Speedway! It's fabulous! My Dad (Donnie Roberts) raced there for a very long time. I grew up at Cayuga, spending most summers in the campground with the other racers kids. My favourite memories of childhood revolve around the speedway! By the way, the house at the front of the speedway was lived in by the manager, not Bob Slack. Excellent job on the site!!!! Name: Jeanine Flenniken CommentsYou have a wonderful site! I'm a huge dirt track fan. We go to Mid-America Speedway in South Coffeyville OK. Would love to get info on local drivers-Folk brothers, Levi McGowan, Al Purkey, Alan Vaughn, etc. Name: Steven CommentsI am an American racing fan of all forms of racing. I must say that NASCAR is great in it's own great left turn circuit kind of way. However, over the past couple of years the racing of Formula 1 has left me in awe. I am wrting to you to inform you that your pit stop comparisons are very wrong for Formula 1. The average pit stop is about seven seconds and a very fast one can be in the low six second range. So that's pretty much twice as fast as NASCAR. Personally I find cars taking turns with loads of 5 G's much nore exciting than watching huge bulky bilboards go round and round. Granted there are two road courses in NASCAR. If you watched Jeff Gordan and Juan Pablo Montoya on Tradi'n Paint you'll know what Jeff said and i quote, "With all due respect to my sport, going from a Winston Cup car to a Formula 1 car is like going from a go-kart to a Winston Cup car." You also talk about the wide fan base for NASCAR vs Formula 1. Formula 1 is the most popular racing form in the world. Races take place internationaly. Michael Schumaher is the highest payed athlete in the world with endorsements. So in closing I would just like to say that NASCAR is great but Formula is the extreme form of racing in every aspect of motorsport. I'd appreciate you leaving this post up and addressing what I said. Thank You. Name: Vicki CommentsThis is a fantastic site! I was doing a reserch paper on NASCAR, and found this site, keep up the good work! Name: Al Williams CommentsThis is a great site. Name: Darren Glenney CommentsThanks for your help.Great site! Name: Al Lloyd CommentsWhat a great site. A real blast from the past looking at Don Biederman's page! I spent every Sat. night at the old Pinecrest Speedway in the early 70s and when Don was there he was the man to beat. I thought racing in Canada died when they closed that track. Name: Diane Wilson CommentsRight-on Bart! This site rocks. Thanks for all your hard work and dedication. Wishing you all the best, Diane Prince Edward Island, Canada. Name: Arno Squellati CommentsBart, your website is one of the best I've seen on stock car racing; very informative and very respectful. Dale Earnhardt was my hero. It's hard to believe that it's been over 2 years since that tragic day. To me, Dale Earnhardt was, and always will be, the World Champion of NASCAR. He's THE MAN, period. I hope one day RCR finally realizes it would be best to put the Goodwrench Chevrolet #3 back on the racetrack. I had hoped that Childress would do it this year (2003); hopefully in the near future he'll do it. It is sad to see great people, in any capacity, pass on before their time. Dale Earnhardt will always be missed. Some people say there will never be another Dale Earnhardt-that is true. But I think there would be some closure if we see the #3 Goodwrench Chevrolet back out there in Winston Cup. Thank you again for you website. Name: janet akridge [ clifton tx] Commentsi realy enjoy nascar ,i love to witch it on tv thank you dale for a giving us something to look forword to on sundays sorry for the lose of your dad he made nascar what it is to day ,he will be missed by all , hang in there your the next best in nascar and you can do it as will as your dad did i have faith in you. i never miss a race that you are running in ,i realy enjoy witching you . Name: kay bader Commentswe have also been petty fans for over 30 years, and had the same great experience when meeting richard! kyle and austin are just as nice. our only regret was never getting to meet adam. we have a little adam memorial along with all of our other petty "stuff" we've collected ovet the decades. adam inspires me every day,he would have been a great driver. we miss him. Name: CJ CommentsJust spent most of my working day on your site. (Obviously it's been really slow, not that I mind of course, I get paid anyway). I've read everything on it. Excellent work. Hope to do something like this myself someday. You and I have many similarities; model building, being aroung stock/race cars, all around car nut! One thing, why do you hate Kurt Busch so much? I know he can be a real twit with his mouth, but just like you admire the on-track abilities of Jimmy Spencer & Dale Earnhardt despite them being able to ruffle some feathers, you have to admit, this kid is talented. Especially when you consider his age. I don't much like him either, in particular, his ears & being so skinny. Sure doesn't look like a stock car driver. I mean look at Buddy Baker, Pearson, Yarborough, those are your "typical" stock car drivers. My wife hates him too & I always tease her, hoping he'll do well just to spite her. I know time is always a problem, but dude you really have to update your site. I'll keep checking up on you. Thanks for the entertainment. P.S. I also think you should do a Jr. Hanley page. Name: nonso Commentsi lmove this site ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh Name: Jenna Lewton CommentsThis is a great site to honor all of the past, current, and future drivers. Good Job!! Name: Ron Nelson CommentsLooking for older pics from the late 70's and the 80's of Jr. Hanley. Have quite a few but always wanting more. Will trade through e-mail with anyone interested. Only pics of Hanley though. Would really love to see a section on your site just on Jr. Hanley. Have one on Biederman, but you can't leave out his greatest rival.
Cayuga section is just amazing.

Jon Reitz Name: Danny Butler CommentsNice site, learned way more about racing than I was looking for!! Wanted to pick your brain about something a little less serious than the actual racing side of things. This year, while waiting patiently waiting in a 2 hour traffic jam to get into D.I.S., we heard an absolutely hilarious Chevrolet radio spot about how the drivers were going to even up the field. For example, Gordon has going to drive blind folded, little E was going to wear a straight jacket, etc.... After we stopped laughing, I made a point of finding this radio spot so I could play it over and over again. So I beg for your help, can you help me find it? It would make an awesome addition to any racefans' day! Thanks, and keep up the awesome sight. PS - the 30+ hour drive back home was brutal!!!!! The follow up to Don "The Gentleman Racer" Biederman Pinecrash story ... I remember the incident(but it was many years ago) Jerry 'The Bear' Makara and Don got into yes ... but I believe it was at Delaware or they had a follow up the next week/race at Delaware because I can still remember Don walking around the pits at Delaware with his helmut on. I think more loved Don in the end though. Bart you have created 'The Best All Time Flat Out Stock Car Racing Website'...period! My friend Cameron used to race CART's Formula Atlantic series and was on his way to either F1 or NASCAR by way of Rouch Racing (in the early 90's). Marriage is a booger though. I think you should expand it I'm sure there are other differences that are equally amusing. Like the congradulations for winning before the race even starts or the ornamental victory cakes in the winners' circle already bearing the logo of Ferrari. Nice site though. Good Luck Andrew http://www.hollerracing.com Name: Petra CommentsGreat website. I enjoyed your take on the latest races and especially liked the old clippings of Cayuga (originally went to the website hoping to find seating plans of Cayuga for the Canada Day CASCAR shootout). I'll have to check out your other links sometime. I enjoyed Who is Bart? and agree with what kind of question is 'why do you need a truck with 250 HP?'. Anyway I noticed the hyperlink link to Whitlock Motorsports a typo (the sp in sports was transposed)...went there to see what the crew chief's name was...met him at last year's Mosport race and at a flyball demo (dog sport)...but Whitlock has switched crew chiefs I think. anyway, I'll stop blabbing. Just watched Junior Hanley will five features including a 50 and 100 lapper at New Symrna. I now live in Illinois and was interested in attending the Hooters Cup race in June at Cayuga. I get my fix for racing info from the net and must say, your site is the coolest. I was touched by your tribute but please add Kenny Irwin to the Fallen Heroes list. (You are correct) Loved your picture of the 2 and 3 car with the flags of the 7 and 28 car. That brought back a few sad memories. I am from Birmingham, Al. so you know who my favorite was. (28)Davie. I do have a small web site to help people sell their old hot rod cars, check it out. This time of year is kind of slow, most everyone is building a new rod for the season upcoming. Bill Hunter Name: Marsha Smith CommentsMy son ran his first year with ASA in 2000. For never competing on asphalt, ran dirt for 3 years, he finished almost every qualifying race and finshed in the top 25 to 30 in four main races and a 19th place at Milwaukee Mile. He will be competing with ASA for the next 3 or 4 years. Your tributes to the 'Fallen Heroes' were very touching and 'dear-to-the-heart'. My husband thought alot of Davey Allison and Allan Kulwicki when they raced. And, my son was interviewed by Fox Sport News and his story ( for being the youngest driver on the Nascar Short Track Series - he cleaned house his first four nights of racing a late model) ran the same time that Fox Sport ran a feature on Adam Petty. With all that said - I did visit the rest of your web site and really enjoyed all of it. I am looking forward to visiting during the 2001 racing season. SAVAGE CommentsENJOYED VISITING AND READING YOUR WEBSITE. ENJOYED YOUR BIO AND THOUGHTS, MINE TOO. I TOO WAS A LIFE LONG PETTY FAN AND MOPAR NUT. YOU ARE WHEN YOU SAY NASCAR IS A FAMILY SPORT, AND THAT THE DRIVERS ARE SOMEONE WE CAN LOOK UP TO. BORN IN '61 MY FONDEST MEMORIESOF BONDING WITH MY DAD WAS WATCHING ANYTHING ABOUT THE KING AND THE BOSTON CELTICS. MY FATHER PASSED AWAY IN '96 FROM CANCER AT THE PRIME AGE OF 55. BUT IN THIS TIME WE WERE BROUGHT TOGETHER FOR SEVERAL SUNDAYS TO WATCH THE RACING. I WAS PROUD TO BE ABLE TO TAKE MY FATHER AND MY SON TO SEE THE KING IN'92 AT HASTINGS NEBRASKA AT THE LOCAL PONTIAC DEALERSHIP ON HIS FAN APPRECIATION TOUR. MY DAD LOVED THE MOMENT. I WILL ALWAYS CHERISH THAT MOMENT. I TOO GREW UP AROUND THE DIRT TRACKS. MY FATHER WAS THE TRACK PROMOTER. I CLEANED THE TRACK AFTER THE RACES, SOLD PROGRAMS,POP, AND POPCORN. I ALSO GOT TO WORK WITH MY FATHER IN PROMOTING AFTER COLLEGE. ONE FOND MEMORY OF THIS WAS THE PROMOTORS RACE WITH ALL OF TRACK FLAGMEN, LOCAL RADIO AND TV PERSONALITIES, TRACK OWNER AND THE PROMOTERS. MY FATHER AND I WERE IN THE RACE TOGETHER WITH RICK BENJIMAN FROM THE SUNDAY SHOW RACEDAY. YES I WON THE RACE, AND ANOTHER FOND MEMORY. I MET RICHARD ANOTHER THREE TIMES, TWICE IN LAS VEGAS AT THE APPMA AUTO SHOW, AND THE LAST TIME WAS IN '97 IN KANSAS CITY AT THE ACE HARDWARE SHOW. I WAS LUCKY ENOUGH TO WIN A SUPPER WITH RICHARD AND HIS SON-IN-LAW BRIAN MOFFIT. WE ATE AT THE HEREFORD HOUSE IN A PRIVATE ROOM IN A PARTY OF TEN. I GOT TO SIT ACROSS FROM RICHARD AND NEXT TO BRIAN. I HAD RICHARD SIGN MY MBNA MASTERCARD WITH HIS LIKENESS. I TOO FEEL FELT IF RICHARD WAS PROMPTED HE WOULD REMEMBER. IN '92 WE WERE ALSO LUCKY TO MEET KYLE IN OMAHA NE. AT THE LOCAL WINSTON DIRT TRACK. WE WERE FIRST IN LINE TO MEET HIM. MY SON NOW HAS HIS 1/24 RACING CHAMPION CARS SIGNED BY RICHARD AND KYLE IN PERSON. I HAVE A WHOLE ROOM WITH NOTHING BUT MY COLLECTION OF THE KINGS COLLECTABLES, PRINTS, BOOKS, ETC. MY WIFE CALLS IT A SHRINE. WHENEVER I WANT TO REMEMBER FOND MEMORIES I JUST GO IN AND LOOK AT THE PICTURES OF MY FATHER, MY SON AND I WITH RICHARD. THANKS AGAIN FOR REKINDLING THOSE FOND MEMORIES! But realize after lookin' thru your site, that I would get alot more satisfaction from building the cars and displaying them, then having them built and buying it at the store... where all the public has access to the same identical car... Thanks for the insight... Here is the URL to my homepage if you are interested in glancing through it... http://www.geocities.com/devilnbljns By the way... I have been a Nascar fan since the late 80's Always rootin' on #3... And also Bobby Labonte... and of course now Dale Jr... again.. thanks for the awesome site... Name:

Teresa Parker CommentsI enjoyed the visit to your home page. Your models are great, your photography is comendable. I've been a race fan since I can remember, my parents were dirt track fans in Tennessee, I remember being at a Daytona race when Fireball Roberts was in the race and having someone take me around betting a quarter each he would win and I had a hat full of quarters. I have been a Petty fan since Richard started racing. Keep up your nice work and I'll visit again soon. Name:

Darrell Hitt Commentshttp://www.gate.net/~dhitt/Index.htm Enjoyed my visit to your site. Have been a NASCAR racing fan since it's inception will most likely be one till I die. Hope you won't hold it against me, but I'm a devout Earnhardt fan...was a fan of his dad's...so it just came natural that when he came on scene, I became a fan of Dale...and now there's little E...so looks as if I'll be an Earnhardt fan till I die too. My only real complaint with NASCAR racing is that they allow the seasoned veteran drivers to run the Grand National circuit. I know they help sell tickets...but every time one of them runs a GN race, some less experienced, less financed racer who is trying to get a start in the sport has to go home. Think Martin, Burton's, Waltrip, Skinner, Gordon, etc, etc...need to decide whether they want to be Winston Cup drivers or Busch Grand National drivers.

Ronda Toney CommentsHey Bart! Hella kickin' website! Loved muchly the Fallen Heroes. My mom was (and still is) a devoted Davey fan from back in da day. She got to meet him a few times and since he has passed on has made her yearly religious trek to his grave in Hueytown. On a side note my dog just recently passed away. When she was alive she used to be scared of the thunder and lightning during heavy rainstorms. We used to tell her it was just Davey, Alan and Neil testing out the track up there. Now when it rains I know she's up there with them sticking her head out the window like she always used to do. When I start to miss her and Davey I just always think about the chorus in Mariah Carey's song "One Sweet Day" "I know you're shining down on me from Heaven Like so many friends we lost along the way And I know eventually we'll be together one sweet day." I met him one time at a race i was helping a friend out at Texas world speedway i believe in 1986 and he was pitted right next to us. Bobby was suppose to run the race but he was rained out in tennesee so they raced on the same day as us and he sent davey down to texas to drive his car.In the very little short time that i got to be that close to him and race with him will never be forgotten. He was and still is my Heroe.May god bless what is left for the Alabama gang and you for having a Tribute such as yours. Thank you Name:

Jeri Neidhard CommentsBart: I LOVE your page. Your running commentary is refreshing and insightful. I discovered your page today because I was trying to confirm a rumor regarding Ward Burton. In typing various phrases on the search engine HOT BOT, your link came up. Although I didn't find anything to confirm the info I had heard, I became immediately engrossed in your site. As a matter of fact, it's been 40 minutes and I haven't made it back to HOT BOT yet. Believe me, your site is bookmarked, and I look forward to visiting it after each race next year. I was also happy to see your comments about IWCR on SpeedVision. I LOVE that show. The guys have so much fun that my family often tapes the shows because we are laughing so hard that we miss many of the lines. Being able to rewind helps! Thank you for your site--and the time and energy you must put into maintaining such a creation. This devoted NASCAR fan (and Michael Waltrip Fan Club Member) appreciates your efforts. I love a lot of drivers and dislike just a few, so I especially appreciate the fair and equal coverage. Yep, it's good that fans stopped THEIR whining and applauded Jeff for his championship. Like him or not, the Rainbow Warriors are one hell of a team, and Jeff does show occassional moments of brilliance. And I really liked one of your observations . . . Geoff Bodine was in the race. He, Ricky Craven and Jimmy Spencer spend a lot of time putting others into the wall, so they're some of my "non-favorites." Oh, and I AM a Ford fan, but I really don't care too much what the guys drive. Again, thanks for this great site. Can't wait to come back!! Name:

Secondly- Your site is excellent. Will be back weekly to check it out. P.S. Got any Petty collectables available? Name:
Karen Wallace CommentsGreat site! I love your models, definetly looks like a lot of time and effort was put into those. I've been thinking about starting some models-any suggestions what a 'begginer' could do. I built some when I was a kid-too many years ago. Keep up the great work and good luck on your MSCE cert.-thought about doing that myself, but haven't figured it out yet. Will be back. Name:
STP43FAN CommentsHello, Bart. I read about your soft wall petition at racecomm, and while I understand the rasoning behind it, I disagree with it. Soft walls do not provide the cushion many believe they do. Arie Luyendyk hit a state of the art soft wall barrier at Indianapolis during teh IROC race there, and all that wall did was destroy his car and injure him rather seriously. What bothers me most about soft walls is that they're basically touted as an excuse to not cut horsepower. That is what is long overdue. Cut horsepower to 400 or less. Not only will this do more to prevent driver injuries than soft walls, it will breed much better racing. Thanks and enjoy. Name:
Road Dog CommentsI like your site. It's full of usefull info.I'm also sick of the jeff show. I am a Rusty fan and waiting for a win from him. Also I too like Chad Little as my underdog driver. Looking forward to a real good finish from him. Keep up the great work. Enjoyed your site. Name:

Bruce Garner CommentsBart, I figured it out. Maybe God sent Jeff Gordon, a lot of moneey and the Rainbow Warriors to Nascar to prove a point. The best do win the majority of the time when they use their brains rather than their fenders and excuses. L.O.L. Had fun gotta go as I do need my sleep. Name:
Bruce Garner CommentsInteresting site! When do you sleep? Thoughts on I,WE,GOD When a slime ball, weasel (rusty wallace) can make a right turn into Jeff Gordon at 190MPH on an oval track, spin him,and thank god for his spoils it makes me wonder. 1) What did Jeff do that god didn't like? 2) Why is Nascar allowing this garbage to happen? 3) Is god the flag man? These guys all need to leave god in church and become accountable for their actions personally. This blatant type of contact is not racing and is spoiling the sport! Name:
Rodney Fielder CommentsExcellent web site. You could also include some more past fallen hero's to your list like Fireball Roberts, for instance. I'll simply say, I like everything I've seen on your site. Keep up the good work. I'm sure that other NASCAR fans like me really appreciate it. I don't agree with your opinion of Rusty Wallace, but that's because I am his biggest fan. Other than that, I yhink your site is one of the best, if not THE best! Keep up the good work, cause as far as I'm concerned, there is no better or finer sport than auto racing, in particular, stock car racing! Name:
Ricky J. Gatio CommentsHi Bart, Well I do like your page and your complete, Hmmm How can I say this, I guess your bluntness, I dont know how Nascar could not of done something to Rusty for the right turn he made at Richmond, Well as you can tell I am a # 24 car fan although I do like the whole hendrick team and do respect all Nascar drivers because as they say "It takes 20 (nuts) to hold them on and only 2 to drive them. Well keep up the great work and I am going to put your page in my favorite places so I can visit often. Hndrx52450 Name:
Jada CommentsGreat Site!! I was linked to your site from Jayski. Your doing a great job...I'm Jerry Nadeau's fiance so don't be dogging him..He is pumped about this weekend at Pocono...I hope he gets that ride. Jay emailed me regarding Jer being in the #35 car. That was the first I heard of it. Do you know anything about that??? Again, Jer feels the #9 has a lot of experience. Can't wait to Sunday!! Keep up the good work... JSB Name:
Wayne CommentsBart, Great site, I will be back often. Was a little disapointed that Dale Jarrett wasn't included on your good guys page, He is one driver who must be considered one of the " Good Guys " with his views and actions concerning his family. I was very happy to see your comments concerning the Jeff Burton incident, you are right on every account there, I also think Jeff ( not Gordon ) is one hell of a driver and an all around good guy, but those comments he made after the race really infuriated me till I realized that in the heat of the situation he might have believed what he said was so, but I am sure after veiwing the tape he changed his point of view. We live only 20 minutes from NHIS and don't miss a race, we were lucky enough to tour the infield and garage area for the Jiffy Lube 300 and also got to meet several drivers. I know people have their favorites, but really everyone we have met so far have been real nice and willing to talk for a minute or two, my son is an employee there and even got to sit in Jarretts and Gordons car. Still though DJ rules and I think he may be the one in the winners circle for 1998. Keep up the great work and hope to be back soon. Wayne Name:

Chuck CommentsJust a stort note to let you know there's a painless way to have your lettering not bleed through on your models. Double decaling usually solves this problem. thought you might like to know... a fellow model builder, chuck Name:

I notice the reference to Mosport - are you in this part of the country? (Canada) I'm in Oshawa, Ontario, and I run a little site devoted to NASCAR and NASCAR modelling called "Mr NASCAR's Neighbourhood" You can find me at http://webhome.idirect.com/~lgsmirle/index.html When you get a chance, check it out, and tell me what you think! Timmy G, Keith and Cami, and Copper! CommentsThis is a GREAT site! I was born and raised in between Charlotte and Hickory... the Heart of Nascar country! I've been an avid race fan since the early 70's and I must say, the bigger that Nascar gets, the more I'm losing interest in it. Multi-car teams will eventually be one of the major downfalls of the sport that i have grown up following and loving since back in the "run what ya brung" days! Personally, I would rather see a few convertible races again and maybe even a dirt track race worked into the schedule at some point. This is the REAL "America's" sport and always has been! True Nascar fans have been and always will be the kind of people who are genuine and real and as far as I'm concerned, the infield is the ONLY place to be! Long live Nascar and long live Nascar fans! Thomas Moriarty CommentsHey Nice site. Don't let NASCAR catch you using their logo though!!! It is a bit ridiculous, but NASCAR's lawyers have been going after people who use the NASCAR logo to link to the NASCAR site. I think this is going a bit overboard, however the lawyers think this is necessary to "protect the trademark". Tom Name:

Sean Joiner CommentsI really enjoy your web page, espically the poem and song dedicated to Davey Allison. You are so right about the loss of Alan and Davey. i had the chance to meet Alan at Hootors here in Augusta, Ga. for an autograph session just five days before his death. I remember a friend calling me at work that night and telling me that he had passed. It was a loss to us all. I had just started to get into nascar and Alan was my favorite. I thank God for letting me meet this incredible man. Even with all of the people there he still took the time to carry on a conversation. Keep up the good work. Name:
