Take Out Marketing was kind enough to send me a copy of Dale Jr's Back
in the Day Season 1 on DVD.
I LOVED it. I've watched a bunch of it. I really enjoyed the interview
with Dale.
I've seen most of the episodes - the orignals too!
I recommend it to any race fan! You can get a copy
here:

Thanks to UPS for the fabulous "We want to
Race the Truck" ads. Keep up with the latest here.

The web is full of NASCAR news from sources much more wired than I will
ever be. Occasionally I still get a chance to post race reports but more
often than not I'm too busy. I do have some stuff though for the
die-hards. I hope you enjoy it.
Petty Page - I was a NASCAR fan way before
it was cool and a Petty fan long after it wasn't. Here's my tribute to
the King and his legacy.
Adam Petty - If only ... Adam Petty was the
future of Petty Enterprises and his loss was not only felt by the Petty's
but also their legions of fans and the entire NASCAR community.
The Good Guys - Actually this page is more
than a little dated but it is cutting edge in two respects. You will never
see Rubberhead here and Tony Stewart has been removed.
Dale Earnhardt - I was never an Earnhardt
fan. In fact, I thought he was a dirty, overly aggressive driver, but you
cannot deny his talent and even I cheered when he finally won the Daytona
500 in 1998. His death in the Daytona 500 of 2001 was all the more brutal
for simple truths that emerged in the aftermath. Had everyone taken
advantage of the proper use and application of all safety equipment
available Dale would still be with us today and enjoying his son's amazing
accomplishments.
NASCAR VS F1 - Dated but still provocative.
Winston Cup Haulers - Tell me again about the
high cost of racing
Atlanta - Fall 2001 - My glimpse at life on the
other side of the glass at a Winston Cup Race.
My favourite quote from 2004 NASCAR Nextel Cup
Coverage:
Alan Bestwick at Phoenix under the red flag with 3 laps to go:
"Speaking of knuckleheads, Kurt Busch ..." I quit listening at that
point, 'nuf said.
